Eating at Emma Krumbee's brings back memories of sitting at grandma's table. Just like grandma's house, the plate piled high with delicious homemade food, the smell of fresh baked bread in the air, and the food is served with a warm, spirited, friendly smile.

Emma Krumbee's Restaurant, Bakery, Apple Orchard, Country Store and Inn & Suites on Highway 169, just south of the Twin Cities, is the closet thing to actually sitting at grandma's table. Since 1979, Emma Krumbee's Restaurant has been serving local folks and hungry travelers.

As you step inside, you will feel the warmth of old-fashioned goodness where friendliness and hospitality have become a trademark. The attractive antique decor, and comfortable atmosphere has received rave reviews. This fine family restaurant has become a favorite in Minnesota.

The Restaurant has built its reputation on the made-from-scratch specials, which change daily. The specials are served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The most popular special is the oven-baked chicken dinner. It is served with sage dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, the vegetable of the day, cranberries, and a homemade dinner roll. Local favorites include chicken dumpling soup and the German special which features generous portions of bockwurst, pork ribs, and sauerkraut. Breakfast is served all day long with a great cup of coffee and conversation. Desserts include hot apple pie with cinnamon ice cream, homemade cream pies, thick malted milk shakes and much more.

Emma Krumbee's Restaurant, Bakery and Country Store is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. Reservations are not needed. If there is a wait, it is normally not longer than five to ten minutes which will give guests a chance to browse through the Bakery and Country Store.
